lately i've been so quiet, i know. these records aren't helping that much when the city has been struck by the rain. it's more alive than ever but i'm stuck behind this windowpane. you said i should take care of myself. you went out and this is the best you've ever felt. did you turn out the lights? and when these faces appeared, didn't you put up a fight? somehow you moved on. the rain it pours and pounds on rooftops and windowsills. when i'm tired and out of excuses i put myself to sleep.
